Music and dance have been interwoven throughout my life, making it natural to convey these themes in my art. I search for motion and energy to show the beauty of movement, musicality and the connection of life force.
My art continues to be an exploration of movement made visual. Sometimes using the figure, abstract gesture, or found objects, I strive to reveal vitality and a free spirit. Curiosity and a sense of adventure have led me to innovations and given me many facets of expression. Working with a variety of media has resulted in an eclectic, diverse body of work.
Discovery and losing myself in the experience of making art brings me pleasure and a means to an inner connection that is both expressive and spiritual. It is a pleasure for me to have viewers relate to my work from their own perspective, to make their own 'story' or message and thereby be personally enriched by my art.
